Featuring Walt Hetfield as “Buddy”, OH BOY! A Tribute to Buddy Holly recreates note for note versions of the music of Buddy Holly and the Crickets. In addition, OH BOY! performs rock and roll classics from other artists that are a part of Buddy Holly’s story. These artists include Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Richie Valens, the Big Bopper and even Johnny Cash. The entire Buddy Holly story is told from his beginnings in Lubbock, Texas to worldwide rock and roll fame. More than just a mere tribute, this is an authentic recreation of Buddy Holly’s life and music.

OH BOY! A Tribute to Buddy Holly also features Walt's bandmates: Ken Schleifer on drums and vocals, Barry Eli on stand up bass, keyboards and vocals and Mike long on rhythm guitar, bass and vocals. The band was initially formed to perform a one time tribute on the fiftieth anniversary of Buddy Holly's untimely demise. The show turned out to be such a success that the group continues to be in great demand throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
